Bran Muffins

Serves lots.
Preheat oven to 400˚

3 c sugar
5 c flour
15 oz Raisin Bran
2 t salt
5 t baking soda
1/2 box raisins (size not specified), coated with flour

Mix together dry ingredients in LARGE bowl.
In a small bowl mix:
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt buttermilk
1 c melted butter or margarine

Add mixed liquids to mixed dry ingredients.
Fold in just ’till all wet.

(Am assuming this is when you pour into lightly greased muffin tin.)

Hazel suggests baking only as many as you need at one time. The batter can be stored in a covered container for baking another day.

Bake 400˚F for 15 minutes.
