Crumb Topped Apple Pie

‘This pie is delicious served either warm from the oven or chilled.
Prepare a 9’ pie shell from your own recipe or a pie crust mix, making a fluted edge
Using an electric mixer, beat together;
– 2 tbsps butter
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
until well blended.

Add:
– 1 Cup (1/2 pint) Sour Cream
– 1/4 cup Flour
– 1 tsp vanilla
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 2 eggs
Beat at medium speed until thoroughly mixed.
Stir in;
– 2 cups thinly sliced apples (or more) (peeled, tart apples)
– 3/4 cup (3oz?) Cheddar Cheese

Pour into prepared pie shell
Bake in a 400° oven for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix:
– 1/3 cups brown sugar
– 1/2 cup flour
– 4 tbsps butter
Until crumbly.
Sprinkle on top of pie and bake 10-15 mins longer, until apples tender/custard set.
